Review of Elvis --- William Maurice.

I met Elvis 3 times in my career as a music publisher / record producer / record company owner--and saw him on stage many times (mostly in Las Vegas) I have also seen many many Elvis tribute artists and without exception I would say that William Maurice is by far the best.
I am not a friend of Williams - nor of Janes - and I have no past or ongoing business relationship with him-- this is a totally unbiased review.After almost 45 years working in the music industry I am more than a little selective in endorsing performers and performanaces...I write this having seen William perform a couple of times last month- and I really do recommend his show 100%.
Over the years, being in the music industry I have been lucky enough to have had more than 250 top twenty hit records worldwide (as either producer / publisher/record company owner) and quite a few of those involved the wonderful world of Real rock n'roll-with hits from Bill Haley (I made his last 4 albums)Little Richard(whom I saw ten days ago in the USA)Jerry Lee Lewis.Chuck Berry,and many many more.
Just three weeks ago at Midem the Music industry trade fair in Cannes France I was discussing how good William Maurice is with Shelby Singleton-the owner for the past 30 years of Sun Records which he bought from Elvis's discover Sam Phillips -Shelby was the man who found and then released the million dollar quartet records...( Elvis,Jerry Lee ,Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins) ---so I think we know what we're talking about here.
If you are a social secretary / an agent / a booker / venue manager / party organiser --I urge you to book William Maurice with his Elvis show--it's simply the best.
